Do not throw petty blitzes at the Red Raiders

For they know how to beat the blitz: a well executed quick slant, a broken tackle, and then 6 points.  I would have loved to have seen this from the Irish on Saturday.  I would have also liked to see more than 3 points.  And some protection.  And a whole lot of other things, but hey, at least it's not as bad as Michigan.  The videos from OSU fans and PSU fans hear the Michigan loss.  The Big 10s best sour grapes.  More to come later, but until then, let me point to a very good post from the Ndnation boards.

I don't know what I should pay more attention to: the fact that the secondary coaches at Texas are pretty frickin good, or that Brunell is making the same mistakes that a college qb would. Personally I find the Roy Williams play more impressive because of the amount of ground he has to cover.

Wouldn't it be great if ND had that kind of safety play against Michigan? 

ND stadium... a pot of gold

 

It seems that Irish fans wear green for a reason.  In two stadiums with equal capacities, and Texas coming off a National Championship season, and Ohio State predicted to win one, with all the hype of #1 vs. #2 (for the first time in a season in 10 years), and a rematch of one of the best games from last year, why the hell aren't OSU-Texas tickets selling for more?  UT's enrollment is larger than some cities.  Same for OSU.  I guess ND alumni are just doing that much better.  Dude, should I buy a Dell, or go to the ND game?
